Land Liberated from Smugglers for Building New Estate

A piece of land near Sheung Shui Station has been planned for building a new public house.

It was once occupied by smugglers for minding their business. [The editor has forgotten the time and the source of this photo. Probably it was before people protesting against the smuggling activities and was probably taken by readers of North District Parallel Imports Concern Group.]

Then the authority has sealed the place.

It is what it will look like in future, according to the archive of District Council.
